PUNDIT BELIEVES SQUAD MAY HAVE TO CHANGE TO SUIT NEW STYLE OF PLAY

- By SARAH CLAPSON

PUNDIT Pat Nevin has questioned whether Morgan Gibbs-White fits into Ange Postecoglou's style of play at Nottingham Forest.

As soon as he was appointed as Reds head coach little more than a month ago, Postecoglou made clear he wasn't going to hang about in implementing his trademark attacking ethos. He proved true to his word but the change is yet to pay dividends as Forest are still without a win after seven games under the Greek-born Australian.

Postecoglou's approach is the polar opposite of predecessor Nuno Espirito Santo, who was more cautious in nature and emphasised the importance of a solid defence. Overhauling the Reds' style when the season is already under way and when the games have come thick and fast has certainly been a challenge.

Gibbs-White remains a key player for Forest but is yet to find his best form this term - albeit he is not alone on that front. According to Nevin, it might take time for the England international to adapt to what his new manager wants.
