IN Lee Ndlovu, Notts County feel they have added a forward that will complement their other options well and the player is happy to feel closer to home.

The 31-year-old was unveiled at Meadow Lane on Saturday before the Magpies’ 1-0 win over Crewe Alexandra, having confirmed his move from fellow League Two outfit Barnet for an undisclosed fee.

Ndlovu signed an 18-month contract with Notts, having turned down the chance to join them in the summer. Now that they have got their man, the club see him as an important addition to the forward line.

Director of football Richard Montague explained: “Lee is a player we've admired for a long time and adds another dimension to what is already a very strong attack.
