Morgan's absence not related to Spurs move

MORGAN Gibbs-White was not included in Nottingham Forest's squad for their preseason draw at Chesterfield but the reason was not because of his links to a Tottenham Hotspur transfer.

The England international was thought to have been on the verge of a move to Spurs, who triggered the £60million release clause in his contract at Forest.
However, that has now been delayed at the least by the Reds considering legal action against what they believe is an illegal approach from the north London club along with the potential revealing of a confidential release clause.
