Medical council rules on doc who took indecent pictures of child patient

ANAESTHETIST BRANDED A PREDATORY PAEDOPHILE IS STRUCK OFF
AN ANAESTHETIST who took indecent photos of a child patient he also sexually assaulted, has been struck off the medical register.
Dr Edward Finn, who worked at several hospitals in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, was jailed for eight years last June after admitting to a series of sex offences.
On Wednesday, the 36-year-old, from Cotgrave, was erased from the General Medical Council (GMC) register.
A tribunal panel described his actions as “deplorable, morally unacceptable and disgraceful.”
Finn took indecent photographs of a young girl at the King's Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield. He also touched her sexually.
He also took images beneath a woman's clothing at Derby Royal Infirmary and took photographs of a naked child known to him, who was not a patient.
