THUG WITH RECORD OF VIOLENCE IS JAILED AGAIN
A 52-YEAR-OLD man beat a house- mate unconscious, dragged his slumped body from a wall where he had collapsed and kicked him in the face.
Disturbing footage played at Nottingham Crown Court showed Adam Curtis rain blows down on to the head of face of his victim.
"Mercifully," as the judge put it, the man suffered just minor injuries at the hands of the defendant, who has a 30-year history of committing violent offences.
Now, he has been warned if he carries on behaving in such a vicious manner, he will soon see sentences simply get longer and longer.
Jailing him for two years and eight months, Judge Philip Head said: "You grabbed him and punched him repeatedly to the face while he retreated from you. You then hit him at least 10 times, knocking him out.
"He was slumped over a wall and you dragged him off it onto the ground and kicked him to the face.
