We very rarely get to see celebrities in their authentic, everyday outfits these days.

With candid paparazzi photography on the wane, we tend to only see them when they're dressed up to the nines promoting a movie, album or business.

With this in mind, this year's best dressed judgments are based mainly on red carpet/public appearances, which are generally not curated by the celebrities but a stylist - who gets a credit here. And if a celeb wears one brand as part of an ambassador role, that's included too.

My best dressed includes men because occasionally they deserve a mention. Credit where credit's due.
