Jet2 building at EMA set to be replaced as firm expands

JET2 is set to demolish its existing building at East Midlands Airport under a plan to expand its operations at the site.

The airline says the East Midlands is one of its “key bases” across the country, giving it direct access to million of passengers flying to Mediterranean and European destinations.
Plans have now been lodged with North West Leicestershire District Council for Jet2 to demolish its existing ground operations and engineering building, located near the runway.
