Jatta aiming to make his dream come true for Notts

The Magpies have stuttered recently in their pursuit of automatic promotion but with four games to play in the regular season, there is still a chance to grab a top-three spot if they can put a run of wins together now.

The Gambian striker Jatta has not scored in his last four starts for Notts but he remains their top scorer with 17 in the League this term.

In a recent interview, he spoke about his journey from Gambia to playing football in Europe, firstly in Estonia and Denmark, before moving to England to play for the Magpies at the start of last year.

Notts and his previous club, Viborg, are both owned by the Reedtz brothers but when the opportunity arose for Jatta to fulfil his dream of moving to England, it was not a foregone conclusion for him or the head coach, Stuart Maynard.
