'Intelligent, articulate' man admits knife attack on neighbour

AN “INTELLIGENT and articulate” Nottingham man has admitted carrying out a knife attack on one of his neighbours at the council-owned flats where they both live.
Carlton Neuvill was initially charged with attempted murder after the assault in Radford on January 22.
But having reviewed all of the evidence and CCTV footage, the Crown Prosecution Service have accepted the 55-year-old's guilty plea to a lesser charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, barrister Steve Bailey told Nottingham Crown Court.
Neuvill, of Norton Street, appeared over a video-link from HMP Nottingham for this week's short hearing yesterday.
