- By LYNETTE PINCHESS

Horse & Jockey runs away with Camra's best pub title

AN alehouse in Stapleford has been crowned Pub of the Year for its qual- ity of beer, warm welcome and mix of clientele.

The Nottingham branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) declared the Horse & Jockey overall champion as well as the winner in the Urban category for the seventh year.

With a long-running reputation for its range and quality of beers, the free house has 13 real ales, five of which are LocAle (brewed within 20 miles of the pub), and at least one mild or stout or porter. It has been a national Camra Pub of The Year finalist in 2013 and 2022.
