LANGAR Hall has many admirable features. By its own admission it's “deliciously stylish and quietly eccentric” with just the right amount of modern to combine the best of the past with the best of the present - and its glorious garden has put it on the UK map for food lovers.

Hall's glorious garden puts it on UK map for food lovers

Fine British food, a magnificent 19th century apricot-coloured building, and a rich history make it a must-go destination.

The country house hotel and restaurant, nestled in the Vale of Belvoir, is an old favourite whether you live in Nottinghamshire or travel from further afield, as many do.

As one recent visitor said: “Excellent! Langar never disappoints. Food is beautifully presented and service very attentive. This place is a gem.”

At this time of year it’s the stunning grounds that pique attention, making it one of just two venues in the East Midlands to get a mention in the Good Food Guide's list of 21 Restaurants with Glorious Gardens around the country.
