Group huddled under umbrellas arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs

A GROUP huddled under umbrellas in the doorway of a shop were arrested after concerns were raised over alleged drug dealing in Nottingham city centre.

Plain-clothed officers were patrolling the city centre when they spotted the suspected activity at the junction of Castle Gate and Lister Gate.
They watched brief interactions involving a number of people, according to Nottinghamshire Police, with one woman allegedly receiving an item and discarding a banknote behind the umbrellas.
