Gang members used a drone to try to fly drugs in to a prison

A GRANDMOTHER, mother and granddaughter from Nottingham were three generations of the same family which dealt wholesale quantities of drugs on the city’s streets, a trial has heard.

A jury was told how an 11-strong gang bought and sold vast amounts of class A and B drugs and even tried to use a drone to fly them into prison but it crashed when it became snagged on a power line.

The prosecution said one of the members, Hayley Price, “revelled in being a drug dealer and showed so much ill-discipline” that she saved incriminating messages from her phone but forgot to delete the screenshots.

And two of the men who headed the illegal enterprise were even able to organise it from behind bars using mobile phones they had managed to get hold of inside.

Three of the group - Shiero Marquis, Milee Munroe and Angela Price - are on trial at Nottingham Crown Court, while eight others have already pleaded guilty to their involvement and await sentence for the roles they played.

Prosecutor Jonathan Cox, opening the trial, said: “The prosecution say they were involved in the illegal supply of large quantities of drugs and these defendants involved themselves in this operation.

“Each of them took part in supplying illegal drugs and in doing so they joined a criminal business. Those towards the top of the business expected to make significant profits, large amounts of money. For many that provided a powerful incentive for them to get involved”

Mr Cox said during the time the conspiracy ran ~ January 2023 to March 2025 - those involved sold class A drugs such as heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and ecstasy as well as class B substances cannabis and synthetic cannabis, also known as “Spice” or “Mamba’.
