Future of former matchday pub confirmed years after closure

A PUB on the side of the canal in Nottingham will be turned into a café and co-working space.
The Waterfront, in Castle Wharf, was built in 1998 as a bar and restaurant, but closed in 2023.
The Waterfront, a popular spot on match days for Nottingham Forest, was operated by pub chain Marston's, but the brewer chose to hand it back to its leaseholder, resulting in its eventual closure.
