Food off the menu at the Golden Fleece from end of August, pub confirms

FANS of burgers, tacos and loaded fries at a Nottingham pub are saddened by the news that food will be axed later this year.

The Golden Fleece has announced that the kitchen will close on August 31. The pub, however, will remain open for drinks.
The pub, in Mansfield Road, serves a 100% vegan menu. It’s known for Holy Smoke, a Southern fried seitan burger with BBQ sauce, tofish and chips, mac'n'cheese and on Sundays a vegan roast with all the trimmings is served.
A post on social media said it had been “a lovely ride” and that the kitchen closure hadn't been an easy decision.
