POLICE RAID FOUND DRUGS AND INCRIMINATING PHONE MESSAGES

- By MARTIN NAYLOR

A FAMILY sold thousands of pounds worth of cocaine and cannabis, having turned to dealing to help pay for drug use and a gambling addiction.

Nottingham Crown Court heard how Charlotte Dove, her son Riley Dove (aka Stanley) and partner Sean Monk were caught out by messages found on phones seized in a raid at her address in Plumb Road, Hucknall.

Analysis showed they had been selling drugs for months and that £79,000 had passed through Dove's bank account in a year.

Judge Steven Coupland said: “Miss Dove and Mr Monk, it is plain from what was found at your address that each of you was involved in possessing cocaine with the intention of supplying it on a large scale. Anybody involved in the supply of Class A drugs in this county commits a very serious offence, and you were an integral part of it.
