Familiar feeling for Reds as summer goal drought continues in stalemate

NOTTINGHAM Forest's preseason preparations continued on Tuesday night with another goalless draw at the City Ground against Serie A outfit Fiorentina.

Forest have now drawn four of their friendlies in this preseason 0-0 and scored just a single goal in six games, with one more to play.

The Reds had to wait patiently in the opening stages, with the visitors who might've been lucky not to have had a player go into the book after a string of late challenges in the first period - dominating the ball without asking too many questions.

Once the hosts got a taste for things, they began to assert themselves and test the Italians with a sustained spell of pressure.
