AMERICAN oil saga Dallas took a decidedly surreal turn 40 years ago.
Bobby Ewing was dead and buried overlooking the family ranch of Southfork in Dallas and everyone was in mourning.
His wife Pam, played by Victoria Principal, could not be comforted and blamed herself for his death because he had perished saving her life when he was run over by Pam's sister-in-law Katherine Wentworth. Bobby died in hospital, but all was not as it seemed.
