Controversial energy firm's revenues rise

AN ENERGY firm has recorded tens of millions of pounds in earnings, despite heavy criticism from its customers.

Yü Energy, headquartered off Mellors Way, Strelley, supplies thousands of businesses across the UK. It has been dogged by complaints and allegations of wrongdoing over the past year.

However, a trading update shared on the London Stock Exchange - where the gas and electricity supplier is listed as Yü Group PLC - has shown the business is performing strongly.
