Check out the wildlife close to where you live
Nottingham Post

LAST week I highlighted just what makes 30 Days Wild, The Wildlife Trusts’ annual nature challenge, so special.
With just a couple of weeks to go until it kicks off on June 1, I also wanted to urge you to use it as a prompt to seek out the wildlife on your local patch.
With the pressures of modem life, it can be difficult to make the time to let nature into your day. One of the real benefits of 30 Days Wild is that it provides the perfect excuse to set time aside to do just that. As someone who works in nature con-servation and whose job it is to extol the vir-tues of connecting with nature, I still sometimes find it dif-ficult to block out the time. That's one rea-son I always try to use 30 Days Wild as a bit of reset. Given that it takes place in June when we have the longest days and a good chance of fair weather, finding a little space in your day is probably easier than it might be at other times of year - so I'd urge you to take the plunge and sign up.
