Burning car closes the A52

THE A52 was shut when a car caught fire in Radcliffe-on-Trent on Wednesday morning.

Police closed the road in both directions between Saxondale Drive and Bingham Interchange for more than an hour as firefighters tackled the blaze at about 10.31am.
No injuries were reported.
