NOTTS REPORTEDLY IN TALKS OVER LOAN MOVE FOR UNITED DEFENDER ALJOFREE
NOTTS County are in talks to sign highly-rated Manchester United defender Sonny Aljofree on loan after he impressed for Accrington Stanley in League Two last term.
The Mirror's Dan Marsh has reported last season’s beaten fourth-tier playoff semifinalists are in talks over a loan move for the exciting 20-year-old. He has previously captained the U21 side at Carrington and was part of the 2022 Youth Cup-winning side that featured the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Last season, Aljofree enjoyed his first loan spell away from Old Trafford with fellow League Two side Accrington. He impressed with three goals in 25 games despite Stanley's struggles throughout the season.
