ANOTHER week and another multiplayer shooter drops, hoping to carve out a small chunk of the millions still playing Fortnite.
This is a high-stakes genre and there are so many free-to-play offerings that it makes it tricky for those that choose to charge for entry too.
With this in mind, Wildgate arrives with a £24.99 price tag but with some gameplay you won’t find anywhere else.
Roughly summed up as Overwatch meets Sea of Thieves, Wildgate is a cartoony sci-fi romp that pits five teams against each other, manning their own choice of spaceship as a four-man crew, made up of heroes with different abilities.
