Cyclist to finally complete epic challenge

A NORTH Devon cyclist’s ambition to ride from Land's End to John O’Groats is set to be finally completed after six decades.

Some 60 years ago David Netherway, a St James, Swimbridge Parochial Church Council member, cycled with a friend to Scotland on an epic trip from their then homes in Exeter - just a couple of years after the pair had cycled from the Devon county town to Land’s End.
