Tata Consumer Q2 profit rises 11%

Tata Consumer Products reported secondquarter earnings above expectations on Monday, helped by easing tea prices, a key commodity for the company.

The company's consolidated net profit rose 11% on-year to ₹404 crore ($45.96 million) in the three months ended 30 September, above analysts' average estimate of ₹369 crore, per data compiled by LSEG.
