Gold Jumps To ₹1 Lakh Per 10gm As Tensions Rise

Gold prices surged ₹1,000 to breach the crucial ₹1 lakh per 10g in New Delhi on Wednesday as escalating tensions between India and Pakistan triggered a safe-haven buying rush.
According to the All India Sarafa Association, the precious metal of 99.9% purity climbed ₹1,000 to ₹1,00,750 per 10g from Tuesday's closing of ₹99,750 per 10g.
Meanwhile, gold of 99.5% purity jumped ₹1,050 to ₹1,00,350 per 10g on Wednesday. It had ended at ₹99,300 in the previous market close.
