Select Wins in Mumbai Realty
Mint Hyderabad
|February 13, 2025
On solid ground
Residential sales in the crucial Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) are booming. However, this boost will only benefit select listed real estate developers.
In January, registered housing units in MMR rose 12% year-on-year (y-o-y) to 12,249, clocking the best-ever registrations for the month, government data from Nuvama Research showed. The value of units rose 31% y-o-y to ₹16,600 crore.
Macrotech Developers Ltd (Lodha) and Godrej Properties Ltd would benefit as they expand into new geographies. Backed by a robust performance in 9MFY25, both firms are confident of meeting or surpassing their FY25 pre-sales guidance, driven by new launches.
