WPI inflation eases to 13-mth low

WPI food index inflation eased to 2.55% in April from 4.66% in March, the data showed
Wholesale inflation eased to a 13-month low of 0.85% in April as food and energy prices softened, data from the commerce ministry showed on Wednesday. The wholesale price index (WPI)-based gauge, which is based on factory gate prices, was at 2.05% in March and 1.19% last April.
