PVR INOX Q1 loss narrows to ₹54.5 cr

Cinema exhibitor PVR INOX Ltd on Wednesday reported a narrowing of consolidated loss after tax to ₹54.5 crore in the first quarter ended 30 June, on the back of good content movies driving up footfall and revenue growth.

The company had posted a consolidated loss after tax of ₹179 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, PVR INOX said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operation
