Modi congratulates Trump, Netanyahu on Gaza peace plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated US President Donald Trump for the "success" of the first phase of the US-brokered Gaza peace plan, highlighting the efforts of both Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end hostilities in the region.

During a phone conversation, Modi also discussed ongoing trade negotiations with Trump.
"Spoke to my friend, President Trump, and congratulated him on the success of the historic Gaza peace plan," Modi said in a post on X. "Also reviewed the good progress achieved in trade negotiations.
