Former kung fu instructor who raped girls dies in jail

A FORMER kung fu instructor who raped three girls has died in prison.

Marcus Mayne, from Abertillery in Blaenau Gwent, was handed an 18-year jail term in 2007 for the horrific attacks.
The 58-year-old was confirmed dead on June 2 at HMP Bristol and the prisons ombudsman said an investigation was under way.
Mayne was 40 years old when he was imprisoned after being found guilty of seven rapes, two counts of indecency with a child under 16 and three sexual assaults.
At the time of the case, WalesOnline reported that he preyed on three girls aged between 11 and 15 at a rented factory unit he used for his sex attacks.
