THERE were 2,000 people in attendance at Merthyr Tydfil's first Day Fever Festival in the town centre.
-
On Saturday, June 28, Penderyn Square transformed into a vibrant party hub drawing in 2,000 for an '80s festival that was the first of its kind in the town.
The event was made possible through funding from the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund Programme, Welsh Government's Event Wales Grant and Merthyr Tydfil council.
Council leader, Councillor Brent Carter, said: “We're absolutely thrilled with the overwhelming success of the Day Fever Festival. It was amazing to see our town come alive with music, laughter and a sense of community.
