VP Sara's campaign efforts for 'Duter10' shifts to higher gear
Manila Bulletin
|May 5, 2025
With less than a week before the end of the campaign period for the mid-term elections, Vice President Sara Duterte is finding herself hard at work campaigning for her father’s “Duter10” senatorial bets.
The official said, in a media interview on Saturday night, May 3, that she will be barnstorming Zamboanga Sibugay, and North Cotabato in the following days.
She has yet to join her father’s Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) bets on the campaign trail, but the Vice President revealed she might be present for the Miting de Avance on May 8.
"March (May) 8 supposedly. March (May) 8 supposedly ang Miting de Avance ng PDP pero nahihirapan ako ayusin yung schedule ko sa daming — sa dami ng mga candidates na nagrequest na mabisita yung kanilang lugar at makakampanya para sa sampung senador (the Miting de Avance of PDP but I’m having a hard time fixing my schedule because there are a lot—a lot of candidates are requesting me to visit their areas to campaign for the 10 senators)," she said.
