They staged their “Super Show 10” concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 4. “Super Show 10” is the 10th edition of their “Super Show” tour, which started in 2008.
Super Junior debuted in 2005 with the song “Twins (Knock Out)” and will officially reach their 20th year in November.
Over the past 20 years, they have garnered numerous awards, including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), as well as Korea’s Most Popular Artist at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards.
In the Philippines, promoter Pulp Live World was the one that brought Super Junior’s first-ever concert in Manila, “Super Show 2,” which was held on April 10, 2010. This time, Pulp Live World also presented “Super Show 10.”
“Super Show 10” in Manila evoked nostalgia as Super Junior’s setlist presented a mix of their songs, starting with “Twins (Knock Out),” their debut song, and concluding with “Express Mode,” a song from their 2025 album “Super Junior25.”
The show also marked the return of Heechul to the group’s concert in about six years. He last participated in “Super Show 7” in 2019.
Participating in “Super Show 10” were Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.
Super Junior started the show with “Twins (Knock Out)” followed by “U,” “Black Suit,” “Mamacita,” “Superman,” and “Super Girl.”
Shindong said, “It’s not just the weather that is hot. But all of your cheers are hot. Mahal ko kayo,”
