PCG rescues 23 from sunken boat

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued 23 people from a distressed recreational banca (RBCA) in the sea of Sombrero Island in San Pascual, Masbate, on Saturday, Jan. 3.
The Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog (CGDSTL) said the RBCA Harlyn developed a hole in its hull while sailing from the Port of San Andres in Quezon to Sombrero Island.
Seawater filled the boat, prompting a distress report to the PCG.
