Partnerships to Accelerate Sustainable Infrastructure Development: How Singapore and the Philippines are working together

Asia, a key driver of global economic growth, stands at a critical juncture. To sustain its growth momentum, the region must scale up investment in sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Yet developing Asia faces an estimated US$1.7 trillion annual investment gap nearly double the current investment levels.

To bridge this gap, Infrastructure Asia (InfraAsia), a Singapore-based project facilitation office seeks to connect regional infrastructure stakeholders and catalyse project opportunities to support Asia’s development goals. In the Philippines, InfraAsia has worked closely with both public and private sector partners to facilitate project development and investment in sectors such as renewable energy, transportation and waste management.
