Pagcor steps up fight vs. illegal online gaming

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) announced its full commitment to intensifying efforts against illegal online gaming activities, acknowledging that it is the prerogative of lawmakers to propose legislation deemed beneficial to the public.

In a statement on Friday, July 4, the country's gaming regulator noted its duty to comply with any relevant regulations once enacted by Congress and signed into law by the President.
While legislative discussions are ongoing regarding proposed bills on online gambling, Pagcor assured the public of its continued dedication to fighting the proliferation of unauthorized online gaming.
