No lockdown for Mpox –DOH

The Department of Health (DOH) warned the public against fake Facebook posts claiming there will be a lockdown due to monkeypox (Mpox), stressing that the virus is not airborne and there is no need for such measures.
In an official advisory on Saturday, May 31, the DOH said that lockdowns are unnecessary, and warned the public not to fall for viral posts using misleading health claims or fake endorsements.
