From one ace to greatness, BingoPlus golfer Tabuena shows indomitable fighting spirit at Sta. Elena

The country's hosting of the International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus marked a historic milestone that transformed the local golf landscape. Not only did it display an elite field of players such as major winners; it also showcased that Filipino golfers can be at par with some of the world’s best.

Miguel Tabuena definitely showed that, shooting an impressive 24-under-par 264 to capture his first International Series title.

The victory was sweeter for the 31-year-old local standout. Not only did he clinch his breakthrough International Series crown before local fans and family members, but he also won it at his home club and with the support of ArenaPlus.

"It's nice to win this with my ArenaPlus family, it's the first event that we've done together and certainly won’t be the last, this will be a longtime partnership as we continue to grow the game here," he said.

"I've always wanted to have my hands on this trophy, and I'm just glad that the first one is at home and at my home club," added the 31-year-old Tabuena, who previously had three Asian Tour titles before this victory.
