backed President R. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s order for lifestyle checks on government officials.
Mangudadatu issued the statement following the controversy over flood control projects that dragged Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and government officials.
"I support the revival of lifestyle check programs for government officials and politicians. Their SALNs should be reviewed so we know whether their wealth is justified," he said. "There is no problem with people getting rich. The problem is if they get rich from substandard projects funded by public money. That is something we must not ignore."
