Isko-Chi tandem, Sandovals of Malabon secure INC backing

Manila mayoral bet Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and his running mate, vice mayoralty candidate Chi Atienza, have been endorsed by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) religious group for the upcoming May mid-term elections.
The INC also endorsed Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and former Congressman Ricky Sandoval.
The church’s endorsement and voting in unity are seen to give Domagoso and Atienza and the Sandovals a significant edge over their rivals.
On April 29, Domagoso maintained his commanding lead in the latest OCTA Research survey in the capital city’s mayoralty race.
The former mayor is also leading in all six districts of Manila.
