IPC backs coastal protection and learning support in Pangasinan

Supporting mangrove rehab and distributing school supplies
Isuzu reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to sustainability and community development through two corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Alaminos, Pangasinan. Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) donated P300,000 to the City Government of Alaminos to support mangrove rehabilitation programs led by the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO). It also distributed backpacks to 140 children, including school supplies like notebooks, and other essential learning materials.

Mangrove restoration has been a key focus for IPC since it first adopted a coastal area in Alaminos in 2005. These ecosystems serve as vital natural buffers against shoreline erosion, promote biodiversity, and help absorb carbon emissions, making them effective tools in mitigating the effects of climate change.
