IMI sells facility in Czech Republic

The Ayala Group’s electronics manufacturing arm, Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI), is selling its facilities in the Czech Republic to a China-based firm for about P636 million as it continues to rationalize its global operations to return to profitability.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), IMI stated that its wholly owned subsidiary, Cooperatief IMI Europe U.A., has signed a share purchase agreement to sell 100 percent of the shares in IMI Czech Republic to KEBODA Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG.
The buyer is a subsidiary of Keboda Technology Co. Ltd. (Keboda), a publicly listed company in China. Keboda was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Shanghai. It is a leading system solution provider for intelligent and energy-efficient electronic components in the automotive industry.
