Gloria Diaz, 73, opens up about relationship with a younger man

During an interview at the press conference of the horror movie "Untold" in San Juan City recently, Gloria identified her partner of 28 years as Michael O. DeJesus, President and CEO of the Development Bank of the Philippines.

When asked to describe their relationship, Gloria said, "It's super good! The beauty queen-turned-actress has an eight-year age gap with her partner.

"He's younger than me. But he and my former husband used to go out together. Sabi ko, I can handle two guys at the same time. Always open your options."

The former beauty queen, who will turn 74 this month, said the younger man usually adjusts in a relationship if the woman is older. "He became older na rin. He became mature. He's a serious banker."

Gloria said she is not open to another marriage. "Huwag na. At my age, alangan naman naka-white (gown) pa ako. (At my age, I don't want to wear a white wedding gown anymore)."

In 1986, Gloria married businessman Gabriel Daza III. Years later, they separated. Gabriel passed away in 1994, but Gloria said she never had any regrets or trauma about marrying when she was younger.
