Former President Rodrigo Duterte reiterated that he has no regrets over his decisions and will not apologize for his actions during his presidency.

- By IVY TEJANO

The former Chief Executive made the statement during the recent visit of his youngest daughter, Veronica "Kitty" Duterte, at the International Criminal Court detention facility in The Hague.

In a brief encounter with the Alvin & Tourism on Duterte St., Veronica said her father stands by his decisions as president, saying they were all made for the benefit of the country.

"No regrets, no apologies," Veronica said, quoting her father. She added that her father is a firm believer of fate and destiny, and that everything happens for a reason.

“Ever since he has a very stoic and accepting mentality towards everything that is happening. According to him, you cannot escape what's written in your palm," she added.
