Financing for massive OSW project secured

A yala-led ACEN Corp. has secured a loan from a Danish firm to develop the Philippines’ first large-scale offshore wind (OSW) project.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday (PSE), June 24, ACEN said it executed a share purchase and loan agreement with CI NMF Philippines C.V. and CI GMF II Cooperatief U.A.
The partnership aims to advance the one-gigawatt (GW) OSW development, located off the coasts of Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte.
The project is a collaboration between ACEN and Danish firm Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).
