Estefania defends MassKara title

Estefania Elementary School defended its title in the school category of the MassKara Street Dance and Arena Competition here on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Led by School Principal Maria Lyn Brafia, Estefania Elementary School bested six other participating schools and won the P750,000 cash prize.
Estefania also bagged several special awards — Best in Music, Best in Theme and Concept, and the Kapuso Choice Award that recognized the contingent that captivated both the judges and the crowd.
Estefania also won in 2019, the last time the school category was included in the competition and before it was halted due to the pandemic.
First runner-up was Paglaum Village Elementary School, receiving P300,000 cash prize and the special awards Best in Introduction, Best in Community Dance, and Most Disciplined Contingent.
