Effectiveness of 4Ps, other anti-poverty programs to be evaluated – DSWD

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian announced that the agency has commissioned Brain Trust Inc., a third-party evaluator, to assess the effectiveness of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and its synergy with other government anti-poverty initiatives.
“We procured the service of a third-party vendor, Brain Trust Inc. founded by Dr. Cielito Habito, to look at the success rate of pulling people out of poverty through 4Ps and its relation to other government anti-poverty programs like Tulong Pang-hanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers (TUPAD),” Gatchalian said in a forum on April 5.
