Dennis Trillo channels Joan Crawford

A revelation made by Dennis Trillo during a recent media event brought me back to 1981, when I first saw the Hollywood film "Mommie Dearest.
The biographical film told the story of 1940s glamorous yet lonely star Joan Crawford (played by Faye Dunaway) who adopts two orphans, a boy and a girl, who, as they grew older, accused the actress of being abusive and controlling.
The film opened with a bathroom scene in the morning, where Joan washed her face with ice-cold water, using ice cubes, presumably to close her pores.
That was precisely what Dennis shared with the media when the topic of his beauty regimen arose. He said that one of them washes his face with cold water and ice cubes first thing in the morning.
