Bacolod police net ₱157.3-M drugs in 2025

The Bacolod City Police Office recovered shabu and marijuana worth P157.3 million in 2025, a 47.6 percent increase compared to P106.6 million in 2024.
Police confiscated 22.9 kilos of shabu worth ₱155.8 million and 12.6 kilos of marijuana valued at ₱1.5 million from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025, a 46.2 percent and 52.7 percent increase, from the previous year.
A total of 597 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted in 2025, leading to the arrest of 785 suspects, 50.1 percent higher than the 523 in 2024.
